From Opportunity to Earnings. One Connected Experience.
Every successful commercial transaction begins with demand.
A buyer needs goods or services. A commercial agreement establishes what must be supplied, the agreed purchase value and the conditions for fulfilling the contract.
But finding a buyer is only the beginning.
Goods must be sourced. Quality requirements must be satisfied. Independent service providers must perform their responsibilities. Delivery obligations must be completed, and settlement must be processed.
For individuals and businesses without established trading networks, bringing these activities together can be challenging.
KwikPort connects the essential elements of commercial participation through one technology platform.
We identify and verify eligible buyer contracts, make available allocations accessible through Trade Tickets, connect traders with approved independent service providers and supervise execution through completion and settlement.
Here is how the process works.
Discover a Commercial Opportunity
Your trading journey begins by exploring the opportunities available in the KwikPort app.
These may include local commercial contracts involving buyers within Nigeria or international contracts involving buyers outside the country.
Every listed opportunity has passed KwikPort's applicable commercial verification and execution assessment requirements.
Before making a decision, you can review the relevant contract details.
These include the buyer's requirements, available quantities, commodity costs, expected trading margins, execution conditions and estimated completion timeline.
Each opportunity has its own commercial structure.
You can compare available contracts and decide which opportunity meets your participation requirements.
You are not required to independently find a buyer or negotiate an entirely new commercial agreement before exploring the opportunities available through KwikPort.
Generate Your Trade Ticket
Once you identify an opportunity that interests you, the next step is choosing how much of the contract you want to fulfil.
Many commercial agreements involve quantities or costs beyond what one individual or business may wish to handle.
Where the contract permits, KwikPort divides eligible opportunities into smaller allocations.
These allocations are made accessible through Trade Tickets.
You select an available quantity or participation unit, subject to the contract's minimum requirements and remaining allocation capacity.
The platform then presents the commercial information corresponding to your selection.
This includes your commodity cost, allocated buyer contract value, expected commercial margin and applicable execution requirements.
Your Trade Ticket represents your chosen portion of the underlying commercial agreement.
It is not a financial investment product. It is a defined allocation within a real commercial transaction.
Activate Your Trade
Generating a Trade Ticket allows you to review your proposed participation.
To begin fulfilling the allocation, you must activate it.
Activation requires completing the applicable payment associated with your selected Trade Ticket.
This payment represents the commodity cost required to execute your portion of the buyer's contract.
Your Naira Wallet must be funded before you can activate a trade.
Once your payment is confirmed and the Trade Ticket is activated, your participation enters the applicable execution process.
Your active trade becomes available for progress monitoring through the platform, and a dedicated Personal Trade Officer is assigned to support you.
Your Trade Wallet displays the gross contracted buyer value associated with your allocation.
This displayed value represents the contractual revenue expected from the transaction. It is not immediately withdrawable cash and does not mean the buyer has already paid.
Activation begins the trading process. Completion and settlement occur later, under the applicable contract terms.
Appoint Independent Service Providers
Every commercial contract requires activities to be performed before the buyer's obligations can be satisfied.
Depending on the transaction, these activities may include sourcing, procurement, inspection, processing, packaging, transportation, documentation or other specialised services.
KwikPort connects you with approved independent service providers whose capabilities match the requirements of your contract.
As the relevant execution stages arise, you can review eligible providers, compare their applicable charges and capabilities, and select those you wish to appoint.
The appointed providers perform their agreed services.
You pay the relevant service-provider fees as the applicable stages arise, rather than paying every provider at the beginning of the transaction.
These charges are separate from your Trade Ticket activation payment and form part of the overall cost of executing the contract.
KwikPort coordinates and supervises the process while each independent provider remains responsible for delivering its agreed services.
Follow Your Trade's Progress
Once execution begins, your transaction moves through the stages required by its underlying commercial agreement.
The exact activities depend on the contract.
A domestic supply transaction may involve procurement, inspection and delivery.
An international commodity contract may additionally require packaging, export documentation, inland transportation, port handling and freight forwarding.
Through the KwikPort app, you can follow the relevant execution stages and receive updates on your active trade.
Your dedicated Personal Trade Officer provides additional support.
The officer monitors progress, coordinates communication with appointed service providers, communicates relevant developments and helps escalate concerns when necessary.
KwikPort supervises the broader execution process to support accountability and coordination.
You do not need to personally manage every operational relationship, but you remain responsible for the obligations attached to your Trade Ticket.
Complete Your Trade & Receive Settlement
The objective of every activated Trade Ticket is to fulfil the applicable portion of the underlying buyer contract.
As the appointed service providers complete their responsibilities, the transaction progresses toward satisfying the buyer's requirements.
Once the relevant contractual obligations have been fulfilled, the trade proceeds through its completion and settlement process.
Settlement is governed by the payment conditions of the underlying commercial agreement and the applicable platform arrangements.
For qualifying transactions affected by covered execution disruptions, KwikPort's trade-protection commitments may support the agreed settlement outcome under the relevant terms.
When settlement funds become available, they are credited to your Naira Wallet.
Eligible available funds can then be withdrawn to a Nigerian bank account.
This completes the commercial participation cycle associated with your Trade Ticket.
What Happens Before an Opportunity Appears on KwikPort?
The process begins before a trader sees a contract in the app.
KwikPort identifies potential commercial opportunities and assesses whether they meet the platform's requirements.
This includes examining the buyer, reviewing the commercial agreement, evaluating commodity costs, assessing the necessary execution activities and determining whether a viable commercial margin exists.
The platform also considers whether appropriate independent service-provider capabilities are available to support fulfilment.
Where a contract supports participation through allocations, eligible Trade Ticket quantities and their corresponding financial requirements are established.
Only opportunities that satisfy the applicable approval requirements are made available.
This assessment helps create a more structured starting point for participating traders.
How Do You Earn Money From a Trade?
Your trading earnings arise from the commercial value generated by fulfilling the buyer's contract.
The buyer agrees to purchase goods or services at a specified value.
The cost of fulfilling that agreement is assessed, including procurement and relevant execution expenses.
The difference between the buyer's purchase value and the commodity cost creates the gross commercial margin.
Independent service-provider fees and any other applicable charges shown before you activate are considered when determining net trading earnings.
In structure:
| Buyer contract value | A |
| Commodity cost | B |
| Gross commercial margin | A − B |
| Independent service-provider fees | C |
| Net trading earnings | A − B − C |
Any other applicable charges are shown before you activate. This is provided only to explain how the calculation is structured.
Your earnings come from the underlying commercial trade.
Each opportunity has its own financial requirements, costs and expected commercial margin.
What Is the Difference Between Your Trade Wallet and Naira Wallet?
KwikPort uses two wallet functions to help distinguish active contract value from funds available after settlement.
Trade Wallet
Your Trade Wallet displays the gross contracted buyer value associated with your active Trade Ticket.
This includes the commodity cost and gross commercial margin represented by the underlying contract.
The displayed figure is a record of contractual value. It is not confirmation that settlement funds have been received and cannot be withdrawn as cash while the trade remains active.
Naira Wallet
Your Naira Wallet holds available settlement funds credited after the applicable completion and settlement requirements have been satisfied.
It may also receive qualifying payments under the relevant trade-protection arrangements.
Eligible funds in your Naira Wallet can be withdrawn to a Nigerian bank account.
This distinction allows you to understand the difference between the value of a trade in progress and money available for withdrawal.
How Long Does a Trade Take?
Every commercial opportunity has its own execution timeline.
The duration depends on the buyer's requirements, the nature of the goods or services, the activities required for fulfilment and the applicable settlement arrangements.
A domestic supply contract may have fewer execution stages than an international commodity transaction.
An international contract may require additional documentation, logistics and cross-border processes.
Before activating your Trade Ticket, you can review the expected execution period associated with the opportunity.
Your Personal Trade Officer and the app's progress updates help you follow the transaction as it moves through its required stages.
Where a covered execution disruption occurs, the applicable trade-protection arrangements determine the responsibilities and remedies available.
Not every trade follows the same timeline.
What Happens if a Service Provider Encounters a Problem?
Commercial execution can involve unforeseen challenges.
An appointed provider may experience a delay, encounter a quality issue or require corrective action before its assigned work can be completed.
When such a concern is identified, KwikPort coordinates the response through its trade-supervision process.
Your Personal Trade Officer helps communicate relevant developments and escalate the matter.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable agreements, the response may involve corrective work, fulfilment of outstanding obligations or appointment of an eligible replacement provider.
Every trade on KwikPort is backed by three layers: service providers who answer for their work, KwikPort's own safeguard for events outside anyone's control, and insurance where the contract requires it. If a trade is cancelled or fails for a reason you did not cause, these layers are there to make sure you still have a successful trade.
The applicable responsibilities and remedies depend on the context of the contract and the agreement governing that particular trade.
The objective is to maintain a structured process for addressing issues rather than leaving participating traders to resolve every operational difficulty independently.
What Responsibilities Do You Have as a Trader?
KwikPort provides access to verified opportunities and the infrastructure supporting their execution, but participation remains a commercial responsibility.
Before activating a Trade Ticket, you should review the contract details, commodity cost, expected execution costs, commercial margin and applicable conditions.
You are responsible for completing the required activation payment.
You must also appoint eligible independent service providers when necessary and pay their applicable charges as the relevant stages arise.
Where information, approvals or other actions are required from you, those obligations must be fulfilled.
Your Personal Trade Officer supports communication and coordination, but does not assume your contractual responsibilities.
Understanding and fulfilling your obligations is an essential part of participating in real commerce.
Can You Participate in More Than One Trade?
KwikPort is designed to provide access to multiple eligible commercial opportunities.
You may explore contracts across different industries and markets and select allocations that match your commercial preferences.
Participation in more than one trade is subject to the availability of eligible opportunities and the requirements governing each Trade Ticket.
Every activated allocation carries its own commodity cost, execution costs, timeline and contractual obligations.
Each trade is followed through its applicable execution and settlement process.
You should consider your ability to meet the responsibilities of each allocation before activating additional trades.
Do You Need Previous Trading Experience?
You do not need to independently possess every specialised capability required to fulfil an eligible commercial contract.
KwikPort connects participating traders with approved independent service providers responsible for performing the relevant activities.
The platform also provides contract information, trade-progress visibility and support from a dedicated Personal Trade Officer.
This structure makes it possible to participate without personally operating a procurement agency, logistics company or other specialised service business.
However, you must understand the commercial commitment you are making.
You remain responsible for reviewing the contract, completing the applicable payments and complying with the requirements of your allocation.
KwikPort simplifies access and coordination while preserving the responsibilities associated with commercial participation.
What Makes the KwikPort Process Different?
Traditionally, fulfilling a commercial contract may require a trader to independently establish buyer relationships, negotiate supply agreements, identify reliable providers, coordinate execution and manage settlement arrangements.
KwikPort brings these elements into one connected experience.
The platform provides access to assessed commercial opportunities and eligible Trade Ticket allocations.
It connects participating traders with approved independent service providers and coordinates the relevant execution activities.
Dedicated Personal Trade Officers support communication, while the app provides visibility into trade progress.
Applicable trade-protection commitments help establish defined responsibilities for covered disruptions.
The result is a structured pathway from discovering a commercial opportunity to participating in its execution and receiving settlement.
Everything You Need to Begin. One Connected Platform.
You choose the opportunity.
You choose your allocation.
You appoint the independent expertise your contract requires.
KwikPort connects the process, supervises execution and supports you from activation through completion and settlement.
